FROM
HUSTLE
TO INDUSTRY
BUILDING AN EFFICIENT EVENT PRODUCTION INDUSTRY IN AFRICA.
The Amplify Conference brought together over 400 live production professionals, creatives, and industry leaders at Zone Tech Park, Gbagada, Lagos for two days of keynotes, panels, technical sessions, and breakouts — all focused on one mission: building a world-class live production industry across Africa.
Under the theme “From Hustle to Industry,” the conference tackled the real issues facing African production professionals — from building sustainable businesses and understanding legal protections, to mastering the technical disciplines that power the world’s biggest shows.
Speakers included CEOs, production veterans, audio engineers, event lawyers, lighting designers, and talent managers — sharing hard-won knowledge and setting a new standard for professional development in the African live production space.
FROM
HUSTLE
TO INDUSTRY.
Africa’s live events industry has always had the talent. What it has needed is the infrastructure, the knowledge, and the community to turn individual hustle into a functioning, professional, sustainable industry.
The Amplify Conference exists to accelerate that transformation — connecting practitioners, raising standards, and building the network that holds the industry together.

THE CONFERENCE
CAME TO ZAMBIA.
The Amplify Conference didn’t stop at Lagos. In 2025, the movement continued with a second edition held in Zambia — bringing the same energy, standard, and mission to live production professionals across Southern Africa.
Two countries. One movement. Growing.
Lagos set the standard. Zambia proved it could travel. The Amplify Conference is building a pan-African network of live production professionals — city by city, standard by standard.
As ALPA launches, the conference continues to be the annual gathering point for the community we’re training — connecting graduates, practitioners, and industry leaders across the continent.
THE NEXT
CHAPTER.
The Amplify Conference planted the seed. ALPA is where it grows — turning the conversations from the stage into structured, internationally-certified training for the next generation of African live production professionals.
