What is
Mix & Tell?

Mix & Tell is the first event in ALPA’s All Hands educational series — a recurring, community-led format built around the idea that every practitioner in the room has something to teach.

Whether you’ve been mixing for 20 years or 6 months, you’ve developed instincts, preferences, and approaches worth sharing. This session creates the space to do exactly that — openly, practically, and without ego.

Bring your sessions, your questions, your gear opinions, or just your ears. All levels are welcome.

01 — Format
Open floor, no slides
Everyone gets a chance to share something they’re working on or an approach they’ve been exploring. No formal presentations — just honest, practical conversation.
02 — The mix
Bring stems or just ideas
Play something you’re proud of, stuck on, or experimenting with. We listen together, react, compare notes, and pick each other’s brains.
03 — The tell
Walk away better
